COVID-19 Related Policies for Receiving Massage/Therapies

The therapeutic industry is now allowed to operate again but the COVID-19 virus pandemic is still a concern. I have developed relevant policies that should be read by all clients attending BEFORE BOOKING an Appointment or ATTENDING an Appointment.

BOOKING APPOINMENT Policy

By booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing that you currently:

APPOINTMENT ATTENDANCE Policy

By booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing to, where possible:

  • If you are feeling unwell for any reason, on the day of your appointment, then you must NOT attend and contact me ASAP to cancel.
  • Attend your appointment alone
  • Attend your appointment 5-10 minutes before it is due to commence
  • Shower immediately before attending your treatment (If you are coming straight from work then you can have a shower in the therapy room but please bring your own towel to use)
  • Change into clean clothes immediately before attending your appointment
  • Check your temperature with a thermometer (If your temperature is 38C or more then you must NOT attend your appointment and contact me to cancel ASAP)
  • If you wish to wear a face mask during the treatment at any point then it is your responsibility to bring a face mask to your appointment

MASSAGE / THERAPY CLINIC Policy

I am prepared to wear a face mask during your appointment, for those clients that would feel more re-assured, but this is not mandatory. I appreciate that some people may NOT want me to wear a face mask, as it would make them more stressed.

So please make it clear before you attend, if you wish to be greeted by me wearing a face mask or not. My face mask will be replaced after each client.

CANCELLATION Policy

  • If you are symptomatic any time within the week leading up to your appointment then you must inform me ASAP, so that I can cancel your appointment
  • If you come into contact with anyone symptomatic, within the week leading up to your appointment then you must inform me ASAP, so that I can cancel your appointment
  • Under the above circumstances, relating to virus prevention, you will not be charged the usual cancellation fee of 50% of your treatment fee

Please do not abuse this Cancellation Policy if your cancellation reason is not connected to feeling unwell. After the imposed operating break by the Government, it is more important than ever, that clients keep their appointments or pay the Cancellation Fee, where they are not symptomatic.

AFTER CARE Policy

  • If you become symptomatic within one week after your appointment then you must contact and inform me of your situation. This is to ensure that I can take appropriate steps and ensure that other clients are not put at risk.
  • If I become symptomatic within one week after your appointment then I will contact you and inform you of the situation. This is to ensure that you can take appropriate steps to protect your health and the ones that you live with. See what to do if you have had contact with a person with Coronavirus...
